Claudia Reinhard first completed a teacher's training degree in music and English at Hamburg University and College of Music. Afterwards she studied voice with Prof. Dr. Ulf Bästlein at the College of Music in Lübeck and the University of Arts in Graz, Austria, where she was also member of the opera department. She studied at Trinity College of Music London with Ester Salaman for one term. In addition she took part in masterclasses with Julia Jamari, Klesie Kelly and Charles Spencer.

Claudia Reinhard currently lives in Munich.

 

She appeared as a soloist in song recitals and oratorio performances and has a wide spread concert repertoire.

 

Since 2003 she has been a member of the renowned vocal ensemble "Singer Pur" (singerpur.de). With Singer Pur she appeared in numerous concerts and took part in productions for TV and radio broadcast stations. Three of their numerous recordings were awarded with the important ECHO Klassik prize in 2005 and 2007. Further Singer Pur were awarded with the Bavarian State Prize of Music.

 

Claudia Reinhard has as well performed as a guest artist with the famous Hilliard Ensemble with whom she appeared at Norfolk&Norwich Festival, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schwetzinger Festspiele, Thüringer Bachwochen and Rheingau Musik Festival.

 

She has also worked as a vocal teacher, e.g. at Augsburg University. Beyond that she was invited to be part of the jury at Deutscher Chorwettbewerb, Jugend Musiziert and Jugend Kulturell.
